Privacy Policy

The short version: Motion Promo is built to keep your work on your device. Your screenshots, videos, audio, projects and the AI-written copy are created and stored locally — they are not uploaded to our servers. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.

1. Who we are

Motion Promo ("Motion Promo", "we", "us", "our") is a 3D device-mockup image and video studio for macOS, iPadOS and iOS, operated by Devs App. This policy explains what information the app and this website handle, and how. If you have questions, contact us at hello@motionpromo.app.

2. Your content stays on your device

Everything you create with Motion Promo is processed on your device:

• The screenshots, images, videos, audio and 3D models you import.
• Your projects, keyframes, text layers, presets and settings.
• AI "Auto Promo" copy and on-device image analysis (Vision / Apple Intelligence) used to write promo text — this runs locally and your designs are not sent to us.

Your projects are saved to local storage on your device. We do not upload, store or have access to your designs or the videos and images you export.

3. Information we process

We keep data collection to a minimum. Depending on how you use the app, this may include:

a) Purchase & subscription data

When you start a free trial or subscribe, the purchase is handled by Apple. To validate and restore your subscription we use RevenueCat, which receives a randomly-generated, anonymous app-user identifier and the subscription/receipt details from Apple (such as product purchased, status and renewal dates). We do not receive your name, email address or payment-card details — Apple processes payment.

b) Usage & analytics

To understand which features are used and to improve the app, we may collect anonymous, aggregated usage events (for example: app opened, a project created, a preset added, an export started/completed) using Google Firebase Analytics. These events describe how the app is used — they do not include your designs, screenshots, exported files or any content you create. Firebase may process device and app information (such as device model, OS version, and app/instance identifiers) as described in Google's privacy documentation.

c) Diagnostics

Apple may share aggregated crash and performance diagnostics with us if you have opted in to sharing analytics with developers in your device settings. This is controlled by Apple and your device preferences.

4. Third-party services

The app relies on the following providers, each with their own privacy policy:

• Apple (App Store, StoreKit, payments, on-device AI) — see Apple's privacy policy.
• RevenueCat (subscription management) — revenuecat.com/privacy.
• Google Firebase Analytics (usage analytics) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, and we do not use it for cross-app advertising.

5. How we use information

• To provide and operate the app and your subscription (unlock Pro, restore purchases).
• To understand feature usage and fix problems so we can improve the product.
• To comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or misuse.

6. No account & legal basis

Motion Promo has no sign-up or login — you don't create an account or give us a profile. Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we process the limited data above on the basis of performing our contract with you (providing the app and subscription) and our legitimate interest in improving the product, and — where required — your consent for analytics.

7. Data retention

Your projects and content remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. Subscription records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat for as long as needed to manage your subscription and meet legal/accounting requirements. Anonymous analytics events are retained according to the analytics provider's standard retention periods.

8. Your choices & rights

• Your content: delete any project in the app, or uninstall the app, to remove your data from your device.
• Subscriptions: manage or cancel anytime in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
• Analytics: you can limit analytics by turning off "Share With App Developers" (iOS analytics sharing) in your device settings; you may also have rights to access, correct or delete personal data under your local laws — contact us to exercise them.
• Tracking: the app does not track you across other companies' apps and websites for advertising.

9. Children

Motion Promo is a productivity tool intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves or as laws change. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes may be highlighted in the app or on this site. Continuing to use Motion Promo after an update means you accept the revised policy.
