Terms & Conditions

In short: Use Motion Promo to make great mockups — you own what you create. Subscriptions are billed by Apple and you can cancel anytime. The app is provided as-is, and please don't misuse it.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Motion Promo ("Motion Promo", "we", "us"), operated by Devs App, covering your use of the Motion Promo applications and this website (the "Service"). By downloading, installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Your use is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for App Store apps.

2. License to use the app

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Motion Promo on devices you own or control, for your own personal or commercial mockup-creation purposes. Some features require an active Pro subscription.

3. Your content & output

You retain all rights to the screenshots, images, videos, audio and other materials you import ("Your Content"), and to the mockup images and videos you create and export with the Service ("Output"). We claim no ownership of Your Content or Output. You are responsible for having the rights to any material you import and for how you use your Output. Because Your Content and Output are processed and stored on your device, you are responsible for backing them up.

4. Subscriptions, trials & billing

• Pro features are offered as auto-renewing subscriptions billed through your Apple Account.
• Prices, durations and any free-trial terms are shown in the app at the time of purchase and may vary by region and over time.
• If a free trial is offered, it automatically converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
• Your subscription renews automatically and your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, unless you cancel beforehand.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Refunds

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies. To request a refund, use Apple's "Report a Problem" page or your Apple Account purchase history. Where we advertise a money-back guarantee, it is provided in addition to, and processed through, Apple's standard channels.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Copy, resell, sublicense or redistribute the Service itself;
• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code or bundled assets, except where permitted by law;
• Use the Service to create or distribute unlawful, infringing, deceptive or harmful content;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems.

7. Intellectual property

The Service — including the app, its software, name, logo, design, device models, backdrops, presets and other bundled assets — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or bundled assets except the limited license to use the app as described above. Bundled third-party assets remain subject to their respective licenses.

8. Third-party services

The Service uses third-party providers including Apple (App Store, StoreKit), RevenueCat (subscription management) and Google Firebase (analytics). Your use of those features is also subject to those providers' terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that exports will meet every platform's specific requirements. You are responsible for verifying that your Output complies with the guidelines of any store or platform where you publish it.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Motion Promo and Devs App will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and uninstall the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or misuse the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

12. Governing law & changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR JURISDICTION], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live. We may update these Terms from time to time; we'll revise the "Last updated" date, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
